經過這三個禮拜下來,我發現越來越多的家長帶著小朋友來聽故事,我們說故事不僅讓小朋友可以學英文單字,同時讓親子關係更好,小朋友和家長一起學習。為了要呈現更好的故事給聽眾,讓我更加用心的準備故事。

I found that more and more parents took their kids to listen to our story from these three weeks. We hope not only children but parents can learn vocabulary from our story, and facilitate the parent-child interactions at the same time. In order to present a better story to listeners, I made every effort to prepare it.

這次的故事還是講的太長了,下次事前的準備需要計時。

The story time was still too long; I should count the time in next story before talking.

很開心小朋友能踴躍地講英文,家長也會在旁邊幫助小朋友,如果我們的故事能讓小朋友還會想再來聽,這樣就會鼓勵我們更努力地準備更精彩的故事。

我發現有一位小朋友都沒有舉手,後來私下和他的媽媽聊後,才知道他很害羞,不敢和陌生人說話,但我還是鼓勵他下次再來聽故事,希望他會因為其他小朋友的影響,下次能勇敢地說出來。

 

I was happy that kids spoke English actively, and their parents would help them to learn it. If the stories we talk attract children to come next time, we would spend more time on preparing fantastic stories.

I found the child didn’t answer the question from beginning to end. After talking with his mom, I realize that he is too shy to talk to strangers. However, I encourage him to listen to the story next time. I hope he could be influenced by other children, and spoke English bravely and loudly.
