斗六繪本圖書館

一開始對繪本館內的環境很陌生到漸漸地熟悉人和事物，這短短的一個月多的時間，經歷了許多的活動，也有了一些跟平常不一樣的體驗。

At the beginning, when I worked at Picture Book Library, the place was strange to me. But I have been gradually familiar with people and things since I experienced lots of different activities during one month around.

才剛來不久的第二天，就碰到我的第一個活動－兒童戲劇營，面對一個完全不熟悉的活動，正考驗我的隨機應變能力，雖然中間碰到一些出乎我意料的事，還好一切都安然地度過，而且跟老師和小朋友都相處地還不錯，是一件值得開心的事。

I took part in my first activity “The Camp of Kids’ Drama,” when I worked on the second day. Facing an unfamiliar activity challenged my live reaction. It was glad that everything was fine and also I could get along with teacher and children well although I met what I never thought situation in the activity.

對於講故事給小朋友聽，我覺得是一件很棒的事，可藉由故事很快讓小朋友學習不同的知識。但經過兩次說故事的經驗，我發現它還是有一定的難度的，因為在講故事的時候，如果說得太無聊，小朋友就會不專心而左顧右盼，所以只有不斷地去問問題跟小朋友互動或是做一些生動的肢體動作，才能吸引他們的注意力。當然偶爾會碰到一些很好笑、很好玩的小朋友和家長，是一個不錯的活動，希望可以繼續延續。

I feel that telling story to kids is a great thing. It can help kids learn different knowledge quickly. After telling story twice, I found it was still difficult for me. If I told story so boringly, children would distract and see around; therefore, I had to ask more questions or do more funny and lively body actions to attract their attention. Of course, seldom something interesting happened from some parents or kids. I thought it was a good activity and I hope it could continue.

來到繪本館，我以為只要整理書本或是偶爾有一些活動需要協助，但從沒想過會在圖書館當油漆工，這是我有生以來第一次，感覺很新鮮，能有這樣的體驗倒是還不錯。雖然需要刷油漆的牆真的很多，嘴巴會一直喊累、喊痠，但做到快結束的那一剎那，會有極大的成就感。

In the library, I thought I just sorted books or assisted some activities. But it never occurred to me to be a painter in the library. It was my first time to paint wall in my life. It was not bad but fresh experience for me. Though many walls had to be painted and we were so tired to do it, we had a great achievement at the end of painting.

關於一些小活動，像是玻璃瓶蓋的設計、寶特瓶裝飾、……等，我認為都是很有趣、好玩的活動，小朋友可以知道怎麼運用一些小東西來美化我們平常覺得不起眼的東西，變成他們所喜歡的模樣。而我也從這些活動看到一些我想都沒想過的創意，讓我每次都能大開眼界，感覺非常棒。

About some small activities, such as designing glass, bottle decorated, and so on. I thought they were fun and interesting. Children can know how to use small things to pretty a plain thing and become what they like. I could see different creativity and I was so satisfied.

另外，我跟其它的實習生、繪本館的姐姐們都相處得還不錯，大家都會互相幫忙，而且很開心能夠認識這些人，讓我在實習這段期間都不會覺得孤單或無聊。

In additional, I got well along with other internship students and library managers and everyone would help each other. I was happy to make friends with them and I did not feel lonely or bored.

最後，我想說很慶幸自己能夠有這機會來到繪本館實習，每一次到繪本館都會有不一樣的事情發生，每一次的活動都可以學到不一樣的東西，過程很好玩也很有趣，也推薦想實習的同學到這地方好好的體驗吧！

Finally, I want to say I am so lucky that I have a chance to intern at Picture Book Library. Every time when I went to library, something different would happen and I could learn different things from every activity. The place is so great, and I recommend students who want to intern are able to have good experience.
